PeaZip 5.9.0 [free file archiver utility] What"s new PeaZip 5.9.0 updates backend to last stable 7z 15.12 (Windows) and p7zip 15.09 (Linux) - providing out of the box RAR5 extraction on Linux systems without additional plugin. The new release improves file management tools (secure delete, free space erasure, hashing) and adds new listing/analysis tool showing also directory content digest (to help finding possible duplicate directories) and optionally showing file header/EOF. Application loading process was updated to make it more robust in case of random/system errors. Linux installers were improved to reduce dependencies, moving optional backend to a separate plugin. 188 file extensions are now supported.
