SyncBackSE is een back-up en synchronisatieprogramma dat gebruikt kan worden op harde schijven, herschijfbare CD’s en DVD’s (geformatteerd in UDF), verwijderbare media (bijvoorbeeld USB drives), FTP servers, gecomprimeerde ZIP-bestanden en netwerklocaties. Het is gemakkelijk te gebruiken, maar bevat ook veel opties voor de gevorderde gebruiker. SyncBackSE is een fors uitgebreide versie van SyncBack Free. Functies zijn o.a. geblokkeerde bestanden kopiëren, snellere back-ups, slimme synchronisatie, snelle compressie, gemakkelijke map-en bestandsselectie, en FTPverbindingen welke SSL en MODE Z compressie ondersteund.
